ML Open Stacks
It’s a part of the ML WTU where users are allowed to pick library items (journals and books) from the shelves by themselves. ML Open Stacks section is located: Level 2 – journals, magazines and books; Level 2A and Level 3 – books.
Printed Open Stacks maps for people with visual impairment are available on levels 2, 2a, 3.

Requesting

Items that have been borrowed by other users can be requested via the Internet. If you do it, you will receive an email, when the requested item has been returned to the library.
Note that you must collect it within 4 days (full-time students or 14 days for part-time students).
Loans
Items can be borrowed from the Main Library by users with an active library account. See more: User authorization levels.
Detailed arrangements concerning the groups of users who can borrow from the ML and their authorization levels are defined in the Regulations.

Our collection is available to any user on site. The items with the online catalogue status: On the premises, Archival, Order to ML Journals, In reading-room are only available on site.
The items which may not be taken out of the library are: items from the ML ML Open Stacks with a red label and:

Each WUT Main Library user who has a valid library account can access the WUT e-resources from any computer.
If you are using a computer in the WUT network, you don’t need to log in. If you are using a computer outside the WUT network, you will be asked to log in.
- User ID – the number under the barcode on your library card
- Password – the same which you use for your library account (no Capital letters or special Polish signs).
Registration
WTU Libraries offer a variety of services for everyone. The WUT Library Catalogue facilitates access to our collections. The computer network enables users to access modern electronic collections and databases.

Library card is a document which confirms yours eligibility to use the WUT Libraries.
Only the owner of the library card is authorized to use it.
The owner of the library card is required to notify the library of any changes in contact details provided during registration and when the card is lost or destroyed.
