Wired network
Computer workstations for searching the library collection
The Main Library and its branches provide all users with access to desktop computers that enable you to:
- use the Primo multi-search engine,
- use the electronic resources held by the library.
Locations:
- ML Open Stacks (levels II and III)
- ML Students Lending Room (room 71)
- Branch Library of the Southern Campus, room 206 (2nd floor)
Specialized workstations for WUT students and staff
For WUT students and staff there are desktop computers that, apart from access to the library resources, also provide:
- Internet,
- Microsoft Office package,
- specialised engineering software (ArcGIS Pro, MATLAB, SOLIDWORKS).
Locations:
- ML Open Stacks level II
- Main Building, Computer Room, room 71A (ground floor)
Wi-Fi network
The Main Library provides free wireless Internet access, administered by the Computing Centre of WUT.
Currently available WIFI networks:
- pw.edu.pl - network for WUT students and staff
- eduroam – network for WUT students and staff and guests who have an account in the eduroam system
How to access
- pw.edu.pl - logging in takes place via the login and password used in the central mail system of the Warsaw University of Technology. If it is necessary to manually set the network parameters, the following parameters are recommended:
- WPA2 Enterprise
- PEAP
- MSCHAPv2
- no certificate
- eduroam - logging in takes place via the login and password generated of eduroam system (instruction). If it is necessary to manually set the network parameters, the following parameters are recommended:
- WPA2 Enterprise
- PEAP
- MSCHAPv2
- no certificate
If you are not eligible for accessing the WIFI facility, there are PCs with access to the Internet.
