Library training for 1st year students
We have the pleasure to inform that the Library Training e-course will be available for all faculties from 24 Feb. 2025 to 24 March 2025.
In accordance with the Order No. 24/2021 of the Rector of Warsaw University of Technology dated 30/03/2021, completion of the course is compulsory for all students of:
- the first year of a first-cycle degree programme;
- the first year of a long-cycle Master's programme;
- the second-cycle degree programme who have not completed the training at WUT.
Library training is conducted electronically on the LeOn Platform of Warsaw University of Technology. Each participant of the course must log in to the LeOn platform on their own at the indicated time and complete the e-course. The training lasts approximately one hour and consists of handouts and a compulsory test.
Enrolment for e-course in USOSweb
- Students in the first year of the first-cycle degree programme and the long-cycle Master's programme are automatically enrolled in the course in USOSweb.
- Students in the first-year of the second-cycle MSc programme (who have not previously completed training at this University) and students who are not automatically enrolled in the course must enrol by registering for the course in USOSweb. Click ‘Register’ (registration for Additional Group 21). Instructions for logging in to the LeOn platform
- Go to the LeOn platform homepage
- Select ‘Login’ (in the top right corner of the screen) and then click on ‘Login to the platform’
- The login and password are the same as for the USOSWeb system
- Enter your login: your PESEL number or the email address you provided when you were recruited (or the ID obtained from the dean's office of the relevant faculty - for those who do not have a PESEL number)
- Enter your USOSWeb password. Students logging in to USOSWeb for the first time enter the password from the Online Recruitment of Candidates system.
- Select the course Library Training - Exercises.
Attention!
If you cannot remember your password, please try to recover it yourself by following the recovery procedure in the application available at (password reset link). If there is insufficient data in the system, or if you are unable to recover your password yourself, please contact the Dean's Office of your faculty.
Transferring credits from previous years
Students who have done the Library Training e-course in previous years (2014-2024) and have changed faculty, may have their credits transferred.
- Those who wish to transfer their e-course credits from previous years must be enrolled for the course in the current semester - see the ENROLMENT section.
- Requests for the transfer should be made via the form
Entries
Credits will be entered into USOSweb at the end of the semester.
