Night Study Rooms
WUT Main Library is actively involved in the initiative to launch the Night Study Rooms, providing students with two rooms for night-time study – 162b and 162c in the Main Building.
From June 1 to 27, 2026, study and work spaces will also be available at Warsaw University of Technology during the night.
Where and when?
Two locations will be available to WUT students:
- WUT Main Library (Main Building) – rooms 162b and 162c
- 4 Rektorska Street – room 3.12
The rooms will be open from Monday to Saturday during the following hours:
- 21:30–06:00
- 21:00–21:30 – technical break (access verification and room maintenance)
A comfortable study environment at WUT Main Library
With its users in mind, the Main Library has rearranged the layout of its rooms to create a comfortable environment for studying and working.
The interiors have taken on a new, welcoming character – colours, plants, cosy carpets, comfortable armchairs and seating have been introduced, as well as whiteboards to support individual and group work.
Access rules
The Night Study Rooms are available exclusively to students of Warsaw University of Technology:
- who have active student status in the USOS system
- who hold an Electronic Student Card (ELS), which is used for verification upon entry
Capacity limits
- Main Building (rooms 162b and 162c): max. 36 people
- Rektorska 4 (room 3.12): max. 50 people
The access control system monitors the number of people in real time – entry will not be permitted once the capacity limit has been reached.
The premises are under CCTV surveillance and are monitored by the reception and the Academic Guards.
