Information clause for the users of the WUT Main Library system

In accordance with Article 13 of the a regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council 2016/679 of April 27, 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data - General Data Protection Regulation (Journal of Laws UE L 119/1 of May 4, 2016 “RODO”) – the Warsaw University of Technology informs that:

  1. The data controller of your personal data is the Warsaw University of Technology, represented by the Rector, located at Plac Politechniki 1, 00-661 Warsaw.

  3. The legal basis for processing of your personal data is the Law on libraries of June 27, 1997.
  4. Your personal data will be processed only for the purposes of executing the tasks of the WUT Main Library necessary for servicing the users.
  5. Your personal data will not be transmitted and made available to external parties, except:
    • cases laid down by law;
    • external parties which concluded contracts with the Warsaw University of Technology on processing the personal data.
  6. Your personal data may be kept until the purpose of the data processing has been achieved and then during the investigation period or other tasks deriving from legislation.
  7. Providing personal data is voluntary, however it is obligatory for the purpose they have been collected.
  8. You have the right to access and rectification of your personal data. You have also tight to notify one of the Libraries of the WUT Library and Information System of any changes in your personal data.
  9. You are entitled to remove your personal data, it will however terminate the provision of the WUT Main Library services.
  10. If you consider that processing of your personal data infringes the regulations of General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to submit a complaint to the President of the Office of Personal Data Protection.

Information clause for the users of the Warsaw Reciprocal Borrowing Programme (BiblioWawa)

In accordance with Article 13 of the a regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council 2016/679 of April 27, 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data - General Data Protection Regulation (Journal of Laws UE L 119/1 of May 4, 2016 “RODO”) – the Warsaw University of Technology informs that:

  1. The data controller of your personal data is the Warsaw University of Technology, represented by the Rector, located at 1 Plac Politechniki, 00-661 Warsaw.

  3. Your personal data will be processed only for the purposes of executing the tasks of the Agreement to implement the Warsaw Reciprocal Borrowing Programme, signed on November 2, 2017 and showing the data on your personal account in the application that supports the Warsaw Reciprocal Borrowing Programme (BiblioWawa). The administrator of the application is the participating Warsaw university library.
  4. Your personal data may be shared for the purpose of the delivery of the Programme services to the user with the following BiblioWawa partner libraries:
    • the Maria Grzegorzewska Pedagogical University with its registered seat at Warsaw, ul. Szczęśliwicka 40, 02-353 Warsaw;
    • the Józef Piłsudski University of Physical Education in Warsaw with its registered seat at Warsaw, ul. Marymoncka 34, 00-968 Warsaw;
    • the Warsaw University of Technology with its registered seat at Warsaw, Plac Politechniki 1, 00-661 Warsaw;
    • the Cardinal Wyszyński University in Warsaw with its registered seat at Warsaw, ul. Dewajtis 5, 01-815 Warsaw;
    • the University of Warsaw with its registered seat at Warsaw, ul. Krakowskie Przedmieście 26/28, 00-927 Warsaw;
    • the Medical University of Warsaw with its registered seat at Warsaw, ul. Żwirki i Wigury 61, 01-091 Warsaw;
    • the Military University of Technology with its registered seat at Warsaw, ul. gen. Sylwestra Kaliskiego 2, 00-908 Warsaw.
  5. The legal basis for processing the data is your consent for processing your personal data.
  6. Your personal data may be kept until the purpose of the data processing has been achieved and then during the investigation period or other tasks deriving from legislation.
  7. Providing personal data is voluntary, however it is obligatory for the purpose they have been collected.
  8. You have the right to access and rectification of your personal data. You have also the right to notify the Student Lending Room in the WUT Main Library, located at pl. Politechniki 1, 00-661 Warsaw of any changes in your personal data.
  9. You are entitled to remove your personal data, it will however terminate the provision of the BiblioWawa programme services.
  10. If you consider that processing of your personal data infringes the regulations of General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to submit a complaint to the President of the Office of Personal Data Protection.

Information clause – contact form and other forms of collecting personal data

In accordance with Article 13 of the a regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council 2016/679 of April 27, 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data - General Data Protection Regulation (Journal of Laws UE L 119/1 of May 4, 2016 “RODO”) – the Warsaw University of Technology informs that:

  3. The personal data included in the contact form will be used for communication purposes or for providing services on the WUT Main Library website, particularly for processing your enquiry.
  4. Your personal data will not be transmitted and made available to external parties, except:
    • cases laid down by law;
    • external parties which concluded contracts with the Warsaw University of Technology on processing the personal data.
  5. Your personal data will be kept for the duration of providing services and communication, not later than lodging an effective objection.
  6. Providing personal data is voluntary, however it is obligatory for the purpose they have been collected.
  7. You have the right of access, rectification and erasure of your personal data, limitation of the data processing, lodging an objection, withdrawal of the consent at any time.
  8. If you consider that processing of your personal data infringes the regulations of General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to submit a complaint to the President of the Office of Personal Data Protection.

Cookies
