Wired network
In the Main Library computers (PCs) are available to provide access to Central Catalogue of the WUT Libraries, the Internet and ML electronic collections. It is also possible to work with your own materials by using Open Office software.
Access to Central Catalogue of the WUT Libraries is possible from any computer located in ML, its branches and libraries at Halls of Residence.
Computers and the Internet - locations
Computers with the Internet access are located in:
- Open Stacks (levels 2 and 3)
- Computer Lab, room 71A, (ground floor)
- Branch Library – Library of the Faculty of Chemistry, rooms 25 and 157 (ground floor, 1st floor)
- Branch Library of the WUT Southern Campus, room 206 (level 2)
Computers with Open Office software are located in:
- Open Stacks (levels 2 and 3)

- Branch Library – Library of the Faculty of Chemistry, rooms 25 and 157 (ground floor, 1st floor)
Wi-Fi network
The Main Library provides free wireless Internet access, administered by the Computing Centre of WUT.
Currently available WIFI networks:
- pw.edu.pl - network for WUT students and staff
- eduroam – network for WUT students and staff and guests who have an account in the eduroam system
How to access
- pw.edu.pl - logging in takes place via the login and password used in the central mail system of the Warsaw University of Technology. If it is necessary to manually set the network parameters, the following parameters are recommended:
- WPA2 Enterprise
- PEAP
- MSCHAPv2
- no certificate
- eduroam - logging in takes place via the login and password generated of eduroam system (instruction). If it is necessary to manually set the network parameters, the following parameters are recommended:
- WPA2 Enterprise
- PEAP
- MSCHAPv2
- no certificate
If you are not eligible for accessing the WIFI facility, there are PCs with access to the Internet.
